Registration opened today for the Cornwall Labour Party policy conference on Saturday 23rd March. The event, at Heartlands, Pool, Redruth, will run 11am - 6pm.
The conference is open to all Labour Party members in Cornwall, but numbers are limited to 150. Tickets are £10 each for the conference, including access to an evening social function. Members and supporters who wish to attend only the evening event can do so for £5. With nearly 8,000 members, supporters and affiliates in Cornwall, the tickets are expected to go quickly but organisers hope to manage allocation fairly across the six constituencies.
Attendees can pay individually or through their local constituency parties.
Registration forms can be downloaded here: Registration Form Cornwall Policy Conference 2019

The 23rd March event is the first of its kind, launching a Cornwall-wide policy consultation which will lead to a manifesto on which to fight the 2021 Cornwall Council elections.
With only 87 councillors to be elected, the Labour Party is aiming to contest every division and is already recruiting candidates.
The revised timetable for the 23rd March is:
Chair's welcome and opening remarks (Anna Gillett)
Speeches from Parliamentary candidates Paul Farmer (Camborne & Redruth) and Jenn Forbes (Truro & Falmouth)
Coastal Corbynomics: What can Cornwall learn from the "Preston Model" of regeneration?
Speeches from Stephen Barnes, leader of Labour group on Cornwall Council and Kathryn See, Labour Party Community Engagement Officer
Reports back from policy workshops and next steps
There might still be a "surprise" speaker, subject to Brexit-related developments in Parliament!
